Resin bonded finishing media (also known as plastic tumbling media or polyester finishing media) is a lightweight, low-impact abrasive consumable for vibratory mass finishing processes. Compared with ceramic finishing media, it features lower density and softer bond, providing gentler cutting action that avoids surface damage, denting or galling on soft and cosmetically sensitive parts. It is widely recognized as the standard choice for pre-plating and pre-anodizing surface preparation.
